Bio

Imani Mance is a Learning Strategist and Instructional Designer who specializes in making learning beautiful through the use of creative media, simplified learning processes, and effective information organization. The primary focus of her work is on new leader onboarding and development. Her mission is to create “friction-less” learning experiences that integrate seamlessly into the dynamic working environment of leaders.To achieve this, Imani develops strategies that leverage several learning interventions from instructor-led events to performance support tools to self-paced on-the-job experiences.

Imani earned a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from Georgia State University. She was named Outstanding Masters Student in 2011 by the Instructional Technology department for her graduate work. Prior to pursuing her masters degree, Imani formed Unique Instincts, a web design and graphic design company. Unique Instincts provided a variety of solutions to small businesses, from eCommerce websites to business card designs.

Imani gained her web design and graphic design skills while attending Spelman College where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. After graduating Imani worked as a consultant with Accenture. While at Accenture, she worked closely with retail clients  to integrate and customize supply chain management enterprise software. After a few years consulting, she eventually left to start Unique Instincts.
