New York Times posted a fictious Facebook page for America. America’s Facebook wall is essentially a timeline of historic events and people.What a great way to incorporate modern culture and technology into a history lesson. I actually think this could be turned into an activity for students to chronicle other historic events or people. Students could not only role play but also put history or other concepts into the context of their lives or in terms that are relevant to them using Facebook as the presentation structure. Although, it may be difficult to create such pages on the real Facebook, simulating Facebook to create a fake wall I think would be just as effective.
