Sign Language – The art of universal communication.

I am a strong proponent of simplifying the learning experience by creating beautiful visuals. In my work I reduce text and find ways to communicate meaning through simple visuals. Thus, I often am seeking inspiration from everyday life. Last year I travelled for several days in Italian and France. I don’t speak much Italian or French but found it easy to navigate these foreign lands by simply following the signs. Here are some of the signs I captured from my trip. They inspired me and hopefully will inspire other learning professionals to leverage the power of symbolism and sign language.
